This is your opportunity to be a part of the world of mushing in the boreal forest with several additions for flavour over our basic excursion! We start with a ‘Puppy Camp’ for a ‘behind-the-sled’ look at mushing. We move on to learning how to have a safe trip, harnessing dogs and finding out what it takes to get the team ready for the trail. Souvenirs and head-to-toe insulated outerwear provided. Then we hit the trail. No experience is necessary. Our friendly, skilled, local, interpretive guides share their love of nature and in-depth knowledge of the landscape and sled dogs with you. 
Mid-Week Mushing Special (available Monday to Thursday)
No experience is necessary. Sundogs Excursions friendly, skilled, local and interpretive guides share their love of nature and in-depth knowledge of the landscape and sled dogs with you. Born to run, the dog’s enthusiasm for the trail is inviting! You’ll also have an opportunity to drive a sled with your guide as coach! This special package includes a 1/2 day of dogsledding (3 - 4 hours) and 1 night accommodation at Elk Ridge Resort • PLUS • Use of head-to-toe insulated outerwear for dogsledding, complimentary use of snowshoes on Elk Ridge or Sundogs trails and all four-star resort amenities (waterslide, fitness center, hot tub) For details and pricing call Sundogs 306.960.1654.
