A Bit About Sundogs
The people part of Sundogs Excursions   are Bradley Muir, owner-operator and Andrea Nelson, general manager and guide.
Brad got started on the right ‘paw’ when he took up skijoring in 1990 and was driving full dogteams by 1994. He is well-versed in the conditions and topography of the area and lives year-round with the dogs.
He hit the trail with Sundogs in 1997 as a part-time operation which was running full-time by 1999. 
Brad has over 30 years of experience as a nature interpreter with Parks Canada, this country's national park service, in Prince Albert National Park. He has a Bachelor of Science degree. Brad is also a Certified Heritage Interpreter. 
He’s been twice named Tourism Saskatchewan Ambassador for Attractions (1998) and Recreation and Entertainment (2010) and has been a finalist on three occasions and received the Tourism Saskatchewan Land of the Living Skies Award of Excellence (2007).
Andrea Nelson, Brad’s partner, 
shares day-to-day
running and guiding dogsled
excursions and snowshoe winter ecology hikes.

She has a passion for taking care of the 
Earth and helping others discover its 
wonders.  Andrea has a degree in History and her interests are wide-ranging.

Andrea is a Leave No Trace Master 
Educator, and canoe tripping guide. 

She is on the board of Sask Outdoors and is an avid heritage interpreter.
