Bookings
Advance bookings are required. We suggest if you only have a few days open in your winter calendar that you contact us about 10 to 12 weeks in advance to book your preferred date.

For Christmas and New Year’s bookings you should reserve as early as possible in autumn or early winter.

However, it is always worth contacting us at short notice (a day or two in advance) throughout the season just in case we have an opening or two in our schedule. We always will try our best to get you on the trails. Register with our Short Notice List by voice phone. 306.960.1654

Terms & Conditions
Dog sledding and other winter activities have risks that are an inherent part of experiences outdoors and with animals. Participants will be required to sign a "Waiver of Indemnity and Assumption of Risk" at the time of booking.

Payment, Deposits & Cancellation Policy
Introductory, Half-Day Excursions - deposit equal to 50% required at time of booking. Cancellation on the part of the participant must be received a minimum of 21 days before the booking for a full refund. No refund will be made if participants cancel less than 15 days before the trip.
Contact Sundogs for deposit and cancellation policy for group deposits and custom group itineraries.
Cancellation Policy
Sundogs Sled Excursions reserves the right to postpone or cancel bookings in the event of adverse weather or route conditions which, in our opinion, may cause injury to guests or dogs.
Excursions may be postponed by the operator when local temperatures are lower than -25C ** (without windchill) at the time of departure.
Sundogs may postpone or cancel an excursion due to other combinations of temperature, wind chill or blizzard.
(Note:** Excursions may be cancelled by the operator at this or lower temperatures.) We will not refund deposits if guests choose to cancel an excursion at temperatures at or above -25C (without windchill).
If a booking is postponed for the above reasons, the event may be rescheduled for a mutually agreeable date and time or a full refund will be issued.
We do not assume responsibility for delays due to weather, illness or other situations for which we or our agents cannot make provisions. We recommend you have trip cancellation insurance and medical insurance.
For the safety and enjoyment of all and to reduce the possibility of
negative behaviours, the consumption of alcohol is not permitted on day-long
or shorter excursions. On overnight excursions it is limited to meal times and in small amounts per individual.

Guests who choose an excursion with Sundogs appreciate the quiet
and 'wilderness aesthetic' of their outting. We strive to offer this to
all guests and have created an operation and reputation where this is
held to a high standard. As well, dogsledding requires attention to the trail
and sled dogs.

To these ends, the use of electronic and digital devices (smart/cel phones,
personal music players/mp3/iPods etc.) while on the trail or at camp should be
limited to urgent and safety needs only.  If you feel you must use a phone we
ask that you make your call away from the camp so as not to impinge on the
experience of others. All phones must be set to airplane mode or otherwise turned off when on the excursion.

Use of cameras/phone cameras is encouraged but please check with
your guide in advance to ensure your attention is in the best place at
the time.Waiver_Form.htmlWaiver_Form.htmlhttp://livepage.apple.com/shapeimage_3_link_0shapeimage_3_link_1shapeimage_3_link_2
